Gramma's Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups pared sliced apples
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Lay apples in buttered 9 inch square cake pan.
  2. Sprinkle apples with orange juice.
  3. Combine flour sugar spices and pinch of salt.
  4. Cut butter into flour mixture until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle over apples.
  6. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes until topping is crisp.
  7. Serve warm.
