Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds

Directions:

  1. Crust: Mix all ingredients until crumbly and press into 9 torte pan.
  2. Filling: Mix all ingredients thoroughly and pour into pan.
  3. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes until slightly golden; let cool 10 minutes and ice.
  4. Icing: Mix all ingredients except almonds and drizzle over the torte; sprinkle with almonds.
