Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Make Burgers:.
  2. In nonstick skiller, over medium heat, melt butter.
  3. Add vegetables, saute 8 minutes, or until very tender.
  4. Add cumin, pepper, and salt; mix well.
  5. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  6. Remove 1/4 cup of vegetables and set aside in medium bowl.
  7. Combine remainder vegetables with turkey and sausage; mix well with hands.
  8. Form into 1/2 inch thick patties.
  9. Broil burgers 4 to 6 inches from heat, for 12 minutes, turning once.
  10. Make Sauce:.
  11. Into bowl with reserved vegetables, stir in all the sauce ingredients.
  12. Serve burgers in pitas (or on buns) with lettuce, tomatoes, and sauce.
