Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 4 to 5 tbsp cold water

Directions:

  1. Combine flour and salt; cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle water evenly over surface; stir with a fork until dry ingredients are moistened. Shape dough into a ball; chill.
