Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a very large bowl, mix together the oats, nuts, millet, oat bran, wheat germ, brown sugar and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the apple juice, maple syrup, brown rice syrup and canola oil. Add to the dry mixture, mixing until combined and oat mixture is well coated.
  4. Spread this mixture out on two parchment-lined baking sheets
  5. Bake in preheated oven for about 50 to 60, gently tossing granola several times during baking (about every 15 min.) You don’t want the granola to burn or get too brown. (Although the granola might seem a little soft when you remove it from the oven, it will crisp-up once it cools.).
  6. Let the granola cool completely on the baking sheets.
  7. Once cool, stir in any of the extras and store in an airtight container. (at this point you could also add things like Hemp seeds or Flaxseeds but then make sure to store your granola in the fridge, but if you don't add the Hemp seeds or Flaxseeds then you DON'T need to store your granola in the fridge - or you could add your Hempseeds or Flaxseeds right before serving).
