White Chocolate Coconut Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teasp. baking powder
  • 1 teasp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer
  2. Add eggs and melted chocolate, blend well
  3. Add flour,baking powder, vanilla, buttermilk, chopped nuts and the coconut. blend well
  4. Pour into 3 greased 9-inch round cake pans
  5. Bake at 350'F for 35 minutes
  6. Cool cake
  7. Ice with white chocolate icing* or your favorite icing and garnish with white chocolate or milk chocolate curls
