Ingredients:

  • 1 cup molasses
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Mix molasses and flour.
  2. Put soda, ginger, cinnamon, salt and butter in measuring cup and fill with very hot water.
  3. Add to flour mixture gradually.
  4. Bake very slowly at 300 in a loaf pan.
