Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg; set aside.
  2. Beat egg white (at room temperature) and salt at high speed of an electric mixer 1 minute.
  3. Gradually add sugar mixture, 1 tbls.
  4. At a time, beating until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold in walnuts.
  6. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake at 250* for 35 to 40 minutes.
