Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In large bowl, stir together sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  3. Add apples and sprinkle on water and lemon juice; toss until evenly coated.
  4. Spoon into 9 deep dish pie pan with or without crust.
  5. Dot with butter.
  6. Prepare topping by combining brown sugar, butter and flour and stir until smooth.
  7. Dab topping onto apples.
  8. Bake in pre-heated oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
  9. Serve plain or top with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream or cheese.
