Ingredients:

  • 1 (16 oz) bag black beans
  • 1 small finely chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 3 finely chopped garlic cloves
  • 2 slices raw bacon

Directions:

  1. Soak beans over night and drain.
  2. Add water, onion, cumin garlic and garlic.
  3. Cut bacon into 1 inch pieces and toss in the pot.
  4. Set the whole thing on the stove between medium and low and cook for several hours or until beans are done.
