Ingredients:

  • 12 cup water
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 4 cup beef broth
  • 1 lb potato
  • 8 oz carrot
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup split peas
  • 1/4 cup barley
  • 1/4 cup orzo
  • 1/4 cup white rice
  • 10 oz red onion
  • 1/4 cup corn
  • 1/2 cup red lentils
  • 1/2 cup navy beans
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Peel and chop potatoes, carrots, onions to 1/4 and combine with all other ingredients in a crock pot. Cook on high for at least 6 hours, stirring every couple of hours.
  2. Adjust seasoning to taste and add more water if necessary to get a nice soupy broth.
