Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F
  2. In saucepan, cook sausage, onion (with green pepper, basil and fennel as if desired) over medium heat until sausage is no longer pink and onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in 1/4 cup of the flour; mix well.
  4. Add tomato sauce; bring mixture to a boil, stirring continuously.
  5. Transfer sausage mixture to lightly greased 9 x 13 baking dish; top with cheese.
  6. In a separate mixing bowl, combine remaining flour, eggs, milk, oil and salt; stir until smooth.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese and pour mixture over sausage mixture in baking dish.
  8. Bake 30 minutes or until top is golden brown.
