Twice Baked Cookies (Biscotti)

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar butter anise and vanilla.
  2. Beat in eggs.
  3. Mix flour with baking powder.
  4. Stir into sugar/butter/anise/vanilla and almonds.
  5. Blend together.
  6. Preheat oven 350.
  7. Chill 2-3 hours.
  8. Shape into 4 loaves(half inch high, 4 inches wide, lenth of pan).
  9. Bake 20 mins 350.
  10. Cut into 3/4 inch thick slices.
  11. Place back on pan on sides for another 15 minutes.
