Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 pan.
  2. Prepare cake mix according to directions. Stir pecans, chips and vanilla into batter. Pour into prepared pan. Drizzle 1/2 cup caramel sauce over batter; swirl caramel into batter with a knife.
  3. Bake 32 minutes or until cake begins to pull away from sides of pan and toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. cool slightly on wire rack.
  4. Garnish with additional pecans and caramel sauce.
  5. To be different (and because I like peanut butter) I substitute peanut butter chips.
