Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix flour and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Add the can of beer and watch it foam.
  3. Mix just until blended.
  4. Pour into a buttered loaf pan, preferably glass.
  5. Combine egg with water and brush the top of the loaf.
  6. Let rise for 10 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
  8. Brush the top with butter while hot.
