Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup light karo
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Cut sweet potatoes into wedges and boil until just tender.
  3. Combine rest of ingredients in sauce pan and bring to a boil for then simmer for 15 minutes
  4. Drain potatoes and place in a fairly shallow casserole.
  5. Pour syrup over potatoes
  6. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes
