Sweet Potato (or Pumpkin) Pie

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp clove

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Beat eggs lightly.
  3. Then beat in remaining ingredients.
  4. Pour into pie shells.
  5. Bake 15 minutes, then reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes longer or until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
