Ingredients:

  • 1 cup lentils (soak in water at least 1 hour)
  • 2 1/2 cups water

Directions:

  1. Cook above until tender and then add:.
  2. 1/4 cup apple or pineapple juice.
  3. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar.
  4. 1/4 cup brown sugar.
  5. 1 clove garlic crushed.
  6. Sauteed onions if desired.
  7. Heat to bubbly, serve over brown or white rice.
