Super Soft Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup margarine (or butter)
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 1/3 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Mix margarine (or butter) with the peanut butter.
  2. Add the sugars, vanilla,rum and milk and mix thoroughly until well blended.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips.
  4. Mix flour with baking powder (If using unsalted butter, also add about 1/2 tsp salt).
  5. Add flour mix to the wet ingredients and stir just until all the flour is incorporated.
  6. OPTIONAL: Throw in the freezer for 20-30 minutes. The dough will be easier to work with afterwards.
  7. Drop by spoonful onto greased baking sheet. Press down to flatten.
  8. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes. Don't overbake!
