Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Saute the onions, bacon and garlic together in a medium saucepan with a large knob of butter until the onions are soft and the bacon is cooked through.
  2. Upend the tin of beans into the pan, and add the chilis and adobo sauce. Bring everything to a simmer, and add the treacle and salt.
  3. Stir well, taste to see if it needs more treacle or salt, and serve piping hot.
