Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. For the Strawberry Filling:
  2. Lightly spray a 9-inch square baking dish with cooking spray; set aside.
  3. In a medium saucepan, combine strawberries, brown sugar, orange juice and cinnamon; mix well. Place pan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  4. For the Golden Drop Biscuits:
  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  6. In a medium bowl, combine flour, 3 Tablespoons sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well. Using a pastry blender, cut the butter into mixture until it forms coarse crumbs. Add the sour cream and stir until mixture forms a ball of dough. Shape the dough into I-inch balls and place them on top of the strawberry mixture.
  7. For the Topping:
  8. In a small bowl, combine the 2 Tablespoons sugar and cinnamon; mix well. Sprinkle over the top of the biscuits.
  9. Bake, covered with aluminum foil, for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Let cool slightly on a wire rack and serve while warm.
