Spinach With Sesame Seeds

Ingredients:

  • 450 g spinach
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 pinch salt

Directions:

  1. Make sure the roots and coarse stems have been removed from the spinach. Wash the spinach to remove any grit.
  2. Boil a large pan of water then turn down to to a medium heat. Cook the spinach for 30 secs, drain and refresh under cold water gently squeeze out any excess water.
  3. Combine the sesame seeds, sugar, soy and salt in a small bowl and stir well until mixed.
  4. Pour mixture over the spinach and toss to mix.
