Spiced Pear And Apple Sauce

  1. Peel, core and slice fruits
  2. Toss in lemon juice.
  3. In large dutch over, combine remaining ingredients.
  4. Add fruit to pot, and toss.
  5. Cover and cook at 350 for 1-1 1/2 hours, until fruits are soft.
  6. Run through food mill, sieve, or potato masher until desired consistency.
  7. **this can be done in the slow cooker, but will take all day to cook. :) Just follow the recipe, as above, but cook on low for around 8 hours probably, but don't quote me on that..if you try the slow cooker, stay home with it, and let ME know how long it takes! ;)
