Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1 1/4 tsp cloves, ground

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 375.
  2. Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl and mix well.
  3. Pour into a buttered 9x12 pan.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes (or until firm in the middle).
  5. Cool on a rack before cutting.
