Sparkling Watermelon Lemonade

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar and water in small saucepan.
  2. Bring to boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
  3. Cool.
  4. Puree watermelon cubes in blender.
  5. Add fresh lemon juice.
  6. Strain watermelon/lemon puree.
  7. Add cooled sugar solution.
  8. Chill.
  9. Fill drinking glass with crushed ice.
  10. Pour watermelon lemonade over crushed ice until glass is about 3/4 full.
  11. Top with Sprite.
  12. Yield: Two quarts of lemonade.
