Ingredients:

  • cooked ham , pieces or ham hocks or uncooked bacon, pieces
  • 1 (16 oz) bottle george's original barbecue sauce (used by rachel ray)
  • 2 (15 1/2 oz) cans black-eyed peas
  • 4 cups water

Directions:

  1. Add everything in one pot, and cook on Medium High until most of the water evaporates! (~ 1 hr) So easy a Redneck could do it! ENJOY!
  2. Serve with Biscuits or Corn Bread!
  3. Note- BBQ sauce is brand specfic to taste. It is made with vinegar, ketchup, apples, and spices. A truly Carolina BBQ Sauce.
