Ingredients:

  • 2 cup. white sugar
  • 1 tsp. corn meal
  • 1/4 cup. butter
  • (optional) use 1 tsp. vinegar instead of lemon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup. carnation milk

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar, flour, meal and butter until consistency of meal.
  2. Beat eggs, add with rest of ingredients to the sugar mixture.
  3. Beat slightly. Bake in large unbaked pie shell at 350 degree oven 35 to 40 minutes.
  4. Top should be golden brown, filling the consistency of jelly.
