Soft Flax Pretzel Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 4 cups flour
  • 3 tbsp. flaxseed
  • 2 tbsp. margarine

Directions:

  1. Dissolve yeast in 1 1/2 cups of water. Add sugar+ salt and stir until dissolved.
  2. Add flour and ground flax and mix well
  3. Turn out dough on floured board, knead 5 minutes.
  4. Roll into thin strips, shape into balls.
  5. Place on well greased cookie sheet.
  6. Beat egg yolk and 1 tsp. water. Brush on pretzels.
  7. Drizzle with butter and baked flaxseed
