Simple Simon Strawberry Pie

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425F
  2. Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon well.
  3. Gently blend in strawberries.
  4. Place into bottom pie crust.
  5. Dot filling with butter
  6. Add top crust and seal and crimp well.
  7. Make deep slits in top crust ( about 6 around side and smaller one in center. )
  8. Bake 425 for 25 to 45 minutes or crust is golden and juices begin to bubble up through slits.
  9. Cool and chill well before cutting
  10. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream if desired
