Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 4 oz butter, room temp (1 stick)

Directions:

  1. Mix flour and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Add butter in in small chunks.
  3. Work with hands until you get a fine crumbley mixture that still sets when pressed.
  4. Press shortbread mixture onto an ungreased non-stick cookie sheet or pan.
  5. Bake for 30mins at 325 (time will vary depending on thickness) watch for it to turn a pale tan color.
