Simple and Delish Maple Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup white karo
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 tbsp maple extract (more or less, depending on taste)

Directions:

  1. Whisk together sugar, water, karo and salt.
  2. Place mixture in pyrex or microwave safe dish.
  3. Cook in microwave on High 7 minutes.
  4. Stir,and cook another 7 minutes
  5. Take out of microwave (Be careful, IT'S HOT!).
  6. Add Vanilla and Maple Extracts and pour into serving container.
