  1. .saute onions, garlic, and mushrooms in oil.add wine.
  2. Add everything but shrimp and pasta, allow to simmer about 1/2 hour. add shrimp cook til shrimp are pink.
  3. Serve over pasta.
  4. *my husband likes mexi blend cheese topped on pasta.I like parmesan cheese.
  5. ** I always double the recipe, take the left over sauce( no shrimp) and freeze for next week. I take it out of the freezer the day before to thaw. when ready for dinner bring to a hot simmer add another 1 lb of shrimp, cook til done and put over pasta. taste even better the second time around.
