Shrimp In Brown Gravy Over Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in heavy skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add celery and green onion and sweat until clear.
  3. Add garlic and shrimp.
  4. Cook until shrimp are pink.
  5. Mix cornstarch in the cold water and add to the shrimp mixture.
  6. Stir until heated through.
  7. Add Kitchen Bouquet, pepper and salt.
  8. Lower heat, stir and cover for about 10 minutes.
  9. Serve over fresh (Redhot123 says not to use instant) mashed potatoes with green peas.
