Ingredients:

  • cooking spray
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 pinches cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar (to taste)
  • 2 dashes soy sauce (to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/8 tsp marjoram
  • 1/8 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder

Directions:

  1. Press or finely chop garlic cloves, then saute in a saucepan sprayed with cooking spray. It may stick, that's okay.
  2. When garlic starts to brown, add chicken stock and stir.
  3. Mix lemon juice and cornstarch, then add to chicken stock.
  4. When mixture begins to thicken, add enough sugar to balance the tartness, then add cayenne.
  5. Place on low heat.
  6. Rinse fish and spray with cooking spray.
  7. Mix remaining spices and sprinkle half over fish.
  8. Broil fish until it flakes easily, flipping once and applying the rest of the spices.
  9. Put fish on plates and pour sauce over top.
