Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Thaw puff pastry on counter in box 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Cook sausage in skillet until about half way done.
  4. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Cut puff pastry into thirds lengthwise following seams.
  6. Roll out slightly lengthwise.
  7. Place uncooked sausage links end to end on the long side of the strips near edge.
  8. With pastry brush, brush a little water on the opposite edge from the sausage.
  9. Roll sausage in dough until the seam is down and seal.
  10. Cut sausage into 1 1/2 inch pieces.
  11. With scissors, snip a little x on each piece (this allows steam to escape and keep the pastry from getting soggy).
  12. Beat egg with a little milk a d brush this over pieces.
  13. Bake at 400.
  14. Check after 10 minutes without opening the oven.
  15. Cook until lightly brown.
  16. Another 5 minutes or so.
