Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup mazola oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar ( confectioners or regular)
  • 1/3 - 1/2 cup rum or orange juice

Directions:

  1. Put all together in a mixing bowl. Beat well. Pour into greased tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  2. A few minutes before the cake is finished baking, heat the butter and sugar until they are completely melted then add the liquid.
  3. When the cake comes out of the over and while still hot, pour topping by spoonful over the top to let it seep in.
