Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs round steaks
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 (7/8 oz) envelopes brown gravy mix
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp ginger

Directions:

  1. Cut meat into squares and brown in oil.
  2. Remove from pan add gravy mix and water.
  3. Bring to boiling stirring constantly.
  4. Add remaining ingredients and return meat to pan.
  5. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove bay leaf and serve over noodles.
