Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 2/3 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Combine the sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add in the egg, vanilla, and butter and mix until it forms dough.
  4. Roll out dough on a floured surface.
  5. Cut into shapes.
  6. Bake for about 8 minutes.
  7. Cool completely.
  8. Optional: Make a glaze by combing powdered sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a tiny bit of water.
