Rib Eyes With Honey Bourbon Caramelized Onions

Ingredients:

  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. honey bourbon

Directions:

  1. Melt butter and 2 tsp. olive oil in skillet over medium low heat
  2. Add onions and cook, stirring often until onions become light brown in color....About 20 minutes
  3. Stir in honey bourbon and cook another 3-4 minutes
  4. Season steaks with salt and pepper
  5. Heat grill pan to high and cook 3-4 minutes per side...More if medium rare isn't wanted.
  6. Rest for 5 minutes
