Ingredients:

  • 5 cups flour
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 (13 oz) can pumpkin
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix flour, cinnamon, cloves, sugar, salt and soda in a large bowl.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine pumpkin, milk, egg, and oil with electric mixer; only mix until just blended slowly add flour to liquid mixture with hand mixer just until blended nicely.
  4. Divide mix into 3 lightly buttered loaf pans.
  5. Bake for 1 hour.
  6. Cool in pans on wire racks.
  7. Turn out over wire rack and store.
  8. Should enjoy within 4-5 days.
  9. Can be frozen if you desire to keep for a later date.
