Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine the ingredients for marinating. Marinate the prawns in this mixture for half an hour.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the prawns until just cooked through. Remove from pan, reserving remaining oil in the pan.
  3. Sauté the onions and green chillies in the same oil used for frying prawns until the color of the vegetables changes.
  4. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté again till the fresh smell of the paste goes away.
  5. Add all the powders and fry well.
  6. Add tomato and sauté till tomatoes cooked.
  7. Add the fried prawns and salt as desired. Cover and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle garam masala and add curry leaves. Mix and serve with rice or chappathi.
