Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 cup flour sifted
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp milk

Directions:

  1. DOUGH
  2. Mix flour and butter together
  3. Add cream, then egg yolks, salt and vanilla
  4. Mix well to form a smooth dough
  5. Put dough in wax paper, place in refrigerator overnight or until well chilled
  6. Roll like pie dough using powdered sugar (very thin)
  7. Cut into 3 inch squares
  8. FILLING
  9. Miix ingredients in bowl or blender
  10. COMBINE
  11. Place a teaspoon of nut filling on each square
  12. Roll in crescent shape and place on buttered cookie sheet
  13. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until brown
