Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Beat eggs and sugar together.
  2. Add melted butter (room temp), and vanilla and anise if using.
  3. Sift dry ingredients into mixture and mix well.
  4. Drop by tablespoon full into a preheated pizzelle iron. Cook time and amount used per cookie will vary depending on iron, approximately 1.5 minutes.
  5. Remove when just golden, cookie will crisp and continue to cook when removed.
