Ingredients:

  • 2 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 envelope yeast

Directions:

  1. IN MIXING BOWL, COMBINE SUGAR, SALT, AND HOT WATER. STIR TO DISSOLVE SUGAR AND SALT. ALLOW TO COOL TO LUKEWARM. SPRINKLE YEAT OVER AND ALLOW TO DISSOLVE. ADD FLOUR 1/2 CUP AT A TIME. TURN DOUGH ONTO FLOURED SURFACE, AND KNEAD THOROUGHLY. DIVIDE DOUGH INTO 12 SMALL PIECES. WITH ROLLING PIN, ROLL EACH BALL INTO A CIRCLE, AND PLACE ONTO A SPRAYED BAKING SHEET. BAKE AT 500 DEGREES 5-7 MINUTES OR UNTIL PUFFED AND GOLDEN.
