  1. Mix first three ingredients well.
  2. Add food coloring as desired.
  3. Pour into baked pie shell.
  4. Chill at least 3 hours before serving.
  5. Immediately before serving top with whipped cream or topping as you would meringue.
  6. Sprinkle with chocolate shavings in center.
