Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
  2. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in egg yolk.
  4. Add the pineapple combined with the baking soda.
  5. Stir in dates.
  6. Add flour mixture.
  7. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking trays; top with chopped nuts.
  8. Bake in a moderate oven for about 20 minutes.
