Pie Crust (Uses Oil)

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 cups flour , sifted
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 3 tbsp whole milk

Directions:

  1. For a prebaked shell, preheat oven to 475 degrees.
  2. Mix flour and salt.
  3. Pour oil and milk into a one-cup measuring cup but do not stir. Pour all at once into the flour and stir until mixed.
  4. Press dough into a smooth ball and flatten slightly.
  5. Place crust between two sheets of wax paper. Roll out. Place in pie plate and flute edges.
  6. For a pre-baked shell, prick with a fork and bake 8-10 minutes. Add filling.
  7. If baking the filling and shell together, don't prick the crust. Bake according to recipe directions.
