Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp celery seeds
  • 2 thyme sprigs
  • 1/4 tsp whole cloves
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 2 cups finely diced celery

Directions:

  1. Bring to a boil 1 2/3 cups water and all the ingredients except celery in a small saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in celery. Let cool, then chill overnight.
