Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1 1/2 cups basil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Directions:

  1. In a food processor or blender, chop walnuts and garlic, and add basil slowly and pulse until both walnuts and basil is chopped. Turn food processor on low/medium and add water and olive oil. Next add lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste - I usually use 2 tablespoon lemon juice, a 1/8 tsp salt, and a pinch of pepper - and Vio-La!
