Ingredients:

  • 1- cup brown sugar
  • 3/4- cup softened butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2- cups flour
  • filling
  • 1- cup pecans
  • 1/2- cup brown sugar
  • 1/4- cup whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350 F.
  2. Combine brown sugar and butter in a large bowl.
  3. Beat and scrape bowl often, until creamy.
  4. Add egg and vanilla.
  5. Continue beating until well blended.
  6. Add flour & bakinging powder, beat until mixed well.
  7. Shape dough into balls and place 2 inches apart on a UNgreased baking sheet.
  8. Make indentions in each cookie with thumb, deep enough to add filling.
  9. Combine all filling ingredients in a small bowl.
  10. Fill each cookie wi 1 rounded tsp full.
  11. Bake 8-10 minutes oruntil lightly browned.
  12. Cool 1 minute and remove from baking sheet.
